An easy to use recipe database without any additional stories, ads or anecdotes. Find the recipe you like, check the ingredients and go make it happen.
My simple and user-friendly database of recipes.
My wife and I enjoy baking and cooking, and we have recipes saved from many different websites and blogs. The problem is that all these recipes are structured differently and there are unnecessary stories and distracting advertisements mixed throughout. I wanted a recipe database that gave me only what I needed in order to create my food masterpiece. The Nothin’ But Recipes database does just that, and there are even more additional features in the works.
The prototype version helped me user test certain features.
The user can scroll through the recipes or filter down to what they’re looking for. The Favorites feature allows users to save recipes in their browser cache in order to quickly find their favorite recipes when searching.
Before beginning a recipe, it’s important to know what ingredients will be needed, and how long it will take. The overview page provides essential information and gives a brief summary of the process.
All of the steps are divided into stages for the user to work through. Each step can be checked off in order to track recipe progress. The original ingredients list can also be referenced without losing one’s place in the recipe.
